that hometown girl's little gothic birthplace house on North Terrace is now a nice museum. Sweeping views of the Missouri River....Try the Italian food at Paolucci Restaurant & Lounge on S. 3rd!!

Hah...Terry...have you been there? Tire Shop at 2nd & Commercial was my Dad's warehouse, wholesale beer dist.

my buddy and his mother had a singlewide on lake down several long dusty roads from that Paolucci's we liked to eat at!
Here's my friend in town next to one of it's big claims to fame.
visited many times, but lake owner kicked all us lowlifes off the lake and sold off that waterfront we all leased to developers who built fancy speculative homes just before the housing crash!
Now, about those Key Lime Pies at Manny & Isa's--I've not been there for 9 years!

In Okla visiting, on way tomorrow to freind's spot at safe, boring, gated Linn Valley Lakes. Nearest bar is 6 miles away :sadwave:
