It seems many of the best and brightest French are choosing to relocate to the USA.

It just doesn't seem fair - we get their best, and we give them nothing in return. We should adopt a fair policy -

For every French PhD Economist, engineer, biologist, physician we get, we should give them something in return.

We can certainly spare plenty of insurance peddlers.

why is it that you talk so negatively about the United States ?

You compare a PhD Economist to an Insurance Salesman ? Good try.

I don't get it - if France, with their "free" health care, short work hours, etc... is SOOO great, why in earth would ANYONE relocate from France to the USA?

Goes against everything you've been teaching - that France has the perfect social-economic model and the US has a poor one.

Why come here then?

I know - the brightest and best want to be REWARDED for their skills and work. This doesn't happen in a socialist country.

Which is why we have (had) the best system, and will return again once we get O out of office.

Did you read the article?

You claim you spent some time in Paris, isn't that right Maggot?

Not that anyone actually saw you there.

So, tell us, Maggot, which Frenchmen did you meet, what did you discuss with them, and what did you learn? What did you observe about the quality of the average Frenchman's life? What sort of food does he eat, what clothes does he wear, what sort of dwelling does he live in, what schooling is available to his children, what health care does he receive, how much vacation does he take, what retirement pension does he get, what is his income, what opportunities and freedoms does he have?

Or did you spend your entire time there cowering under the bed?

You're setting a fine example for your precious children - a cowardly, ignorant bigot..

Hey Muffy:

Just answer the question that you ignored:

Why would the "best and brightest" French people leave YOUR beloved socialistic France and come to the capitalistic USA, which you seem to hate?

Clearly you ignored the question, as even you realized that a socialistic system is a terrible one for anyone that is successful and has drive - hence, the best and brightest French come here.

Interestly, it does NOT appear that the best and brightest USA folks are headed to live in France. I wonder why that is??? :mj07:

Negatively? Huh? I'm proposing a great trade for the USA.

If we could trade them an insurance salesman for a PhD Biologist professor or researcher, that would be a great benefit for us.

Even better, we could trade them one PhD Biologist for a thousand blood-sucking insurance peddlers. :0074

But let me ask you a question - what insurer is the most cost effective, pays their bills the fastest, charges the lowest premiums, is accepted by the greatest number of physicians and hospitals, and never cancels anyone's policy?

Medicare. And how many salesmen do they employ?
