This is a great spot for the Cowboys. They get the defending SB champs at home on a short week in a nationally televised game. Jason Garrett has rallied the troops and while it most certainly is too little, too late, you can bet they will be fired up to win at home with the whole country watching.

With the Cowboys it was never a matter of talent, that was obvious, it was work ethic. Players believed they should win by simply stepping onto the field and weren't prepared to put in the work.

Seattle basically moved the ball at will last week against New Orleans, yet was undone by two Marshawn Lynch fumbles. The Cowboys have been taking good care of the ball under Garrett, with just a single turnover in each of the last two games. Points should not be hard to come by for either team. Dallas has one of the worst secondaries in the NFL and the Saints made Matt Hasselback look like Phil Rivers, allowing 366 yards through the air.

The Cowboys have played this game many times before and understand how to prepare for a very short week. Garrett has been with the team since 2007, so this Thanksgiving Day game is nothing new, despite his relative inexperience as a head coach.

The key for me is the hook. In what should be a back and forth affair, the half point might prove vital.

COWBOYS +3.5

Happy Turkey Day Boys!!!

Sea threw well on saints, yes. However, saints were playing with a lead without 2 defensive starters in the secondary. Plus, the saints have this game circled since Dallas beat them last yr to end their 13 gm winning streak. It is easy to imagine why the saints top 5 defense allowed sea to move the ball some after they took control off the game.

I don't want to sound like a homer, but those are my thoughts on this game. Good luck on other action, but we are head to head here. Of course, I have now lost 8 straight and hold a 28-29 record, so what do I know. Cheers.

Cie, I respect your opinion, but the fact of the matter is Hasselbeck only threw for 134 yards in the 2nd half. As I said earlier, they had two drives stalled by turnovers after halftime.

I hear you, but the saints are top 3 in the league in pas def and 2 blown assignments accounted for 110 of those yards in the 1h. dbs are back this week.

Dallas wont stop the Saints its all about if the Saints can stop Dallas.

Good luck guys!!

Call me crazy but if you struggle to stop Mike Williams and Ben Obomanu (who??) how are you going to match up with two beasts like Austin and Bryant?

Bush plays today and i think Harper and Sharper are back in the secondary.

As long as Jabari Greer is back there I think we'll be okay..

I'm waiting to hear from shawn555 before I make any plays going forward.
