Oregon will stomp whoever they play anyway

THEY COULDNT EVEN COVER TODAY AGAINST AZ....

WE ALL KNOW US CAPPERS KNOW THAT COVERING A POINT SPREAD, TO ME AT LEAST, SHOWS THAT A FAVED TEAM HAS DONE ITS JOB AND PROVED ITSELF AGAINST A LESSOR OPPONENT... OR, A LESSOR OPPONENT UPSETTING SAY A 14 PT FAVE.... THIS WILL UNDOUBTEDLY MOVE THEM UP THE RANKINGS... WHY? CUZ THEY DESERVE IT... NOT BECAUSE BOISE ST WAS EXPOSED... THEY GOT BEAT BECAUSE THEY HADNT SEEN THAT FEROCITY THAT LATE IN A BALL GAME EVER... AND THEN THE MOMENTUM OF DISASTER PICKED UP SPEED AND SENT EM DOWN THE HILL OF SHAME...

I'm glad I don't have to hear Rod Gilmore suck Boise's balls anymore on ESPN.

AYE! But, WHAT A RUN THEY HAD... BUT LOOK AT NEVADA SHATTERING THE DUO RUSHING RECORD IN CFB EVER!!!! AND STILL 2 GAMES TO GO... And about to have 8000 pass and 4000 rush... Only 1 other player has done this, and NV QB is about to.

1000% agree LDB.. Prior to this loss, i really thought Boise was the best team in the country. It really would have upset people on the east coast to have sean two west coast teams duking it out for the title. I still think Oregon has a tough game at the Beavers home stadium, who hace been known to upset a season or two, but if they get through I truly believe the championship will be justified as long as Auburn can get through the SEC championship game and then we'll have two worthy title contenders. HOWEVER, if one of those two teams were to lose, for TCU to not be in the BCS championship game would be a travesty, just the same as I would have felt had Boise gone undefeated. What a shame. I really do feel bad for Kellen Moore and the rest of those 4-yr seniors... they were so close too many times.

it`s a damned shame that boise `s season turned on 4- 15 yard penalties in crucial situations in the 3rd quarter..momentum changers/killers......and 2 short field goal misses...

several of those penalties were very ??......gilmore completely shit the bed with his comment that the defender didn`t turn on the pass int. penalty...he should know better...

i had no dog in the hunt...but losing to a 10-1 team with that offense on their home field on senior day on some flukes doesn`t make boise st garbage....

i love the sec...it DOES play the best football in college year in and year out over the last decade or so...top to bottom the best...

but,my god...why ,are "some" sec fans such arrogant blowhards(not talking about dedicated fans that keep it respectful like cie and lawtchan)?...you guys seriously need to take it down a notch.....

jmo...

While I suppose that I agree with the title of this thread to a certain degree, I only wish that their defeat could have been a touch more decisive to prove the point.

The entire college football landscape was changed by one kid who's nerves got the best of him. However, this does not change the fact that I saw Nevada as being the better team on the field last night.

Every year, same argument. Even though the mid's do need the large check that they receive for being taken to slaughter, It's time to cut a couple non conference blow outs and change the format.

No matter your team, conference or geographical bias, it seems that everybody agrees on this.

.

if you`re truly objective, you have to admit it was a game of halves....and the second half had very much to do with the penalties that started the ball rolling downhill for nevada(on their homefield,btw)....

i realize that you said "the better team last night"...i hope you aren`t intimating that you think that boise doesn`t win this game by 2,possibly 3 t.d.`s or more at boise.....

i don`t believe that`s what you`re saying...are you?...

This loss should not considered a bad loss. Road rivalry losses against quality football teams happen.

This is, of course, makes the argument made by big ten, bigxii and sec, because road games against quality rivals occur frequently. Every 2 seasons, a team like ole miss plays tough road games @ bama, aub, fla, lsu, arky That does not include the egg bowl. Most years, 4 of those 5 teams are highly ranked, and each of those teams is constantly stacked with nfl talent.........

Boise is who we thought they were. A very well-coached team, with a nice qb, and good talent for their conference.

Title game. Oreg vs aub
Fiesta big east champ vs ???
Sugar lsu or bama vs Ohio st
Rose Wisconsin vs Tcu
Orange bxii#1 vs vt

Who will get a crack at the big east champ? Is Boise in the mix there with Stan and ok st or neb?

Btw, I think aub wins over Oregon. I hope for Oregon to roll the beavers, and aub to squeak by sc next week for max line value.

I think it sucks that they lost. All I care about is getting a college playoff. I think it would blow the ratings thru the rough and most importantly would give us a true national champ. We needed Boise and TCU to stay undefeated and for the Big 10, Big 12, and SECs top teams to have one loss but be shut out. Make the big boys hurt and they'll have changes made.

Not at all Wease. Just taking it as one independent event without regard of any other scenario. I like that Nevada team a lot.
