The rule definately gives the refs too much control. Games need to be decided by the players and not the refs.

I absolutely hate the PI penalties. They can ruin a game, easily. I would like to see somehing like in college or, ideally, two degrees of pi. It sucks to give up huge chunks of yardage on a questionable judgement call...

I totally agree with you. I dont want to come off like Im rubbing it in that you took Bal and got hooked either... But to me, this was a game that was gonna be fixed if it needed to be:

80% + on PITT -7.5; No way they WOULDNT throw the flag to insure a TB cover today... When I took TB, I WAS CONVINCED that if TB couldnt beat em because of team talent or luck, REFS WOULD SAVE MY BET TO INSURE THE MILLIONS WOULD GOTO THE BOOK HOUSES.... Im a huge believer of the "fix" of games... And I agree, you were right, NO PI.... But if there wasnt, BAL COVERS AND THAT WOULD REALLY HURT THE BOOKS... (And I believe that NFL gets financial help SOMEHOW INDRIECTLY/DIRECTLY REAL SUBTLY PAYOFFS/DONATIONS from the big big books... Or AT LEAST SUPER INCENTIVES TO CORPORATE OR TO TEAMS' BRASS AND OF COURSE THE REFS "FUND".... Love someday if it was proven that it goes on in every sport... You know Tim Donaghy's book was edited by the publisher (and he was probably paid huge to be "gagged" on some topics/instances)... His book opened my eyes HUGE... And I havent looked back since... I didnt have Balt i had the Under. I was pissed off because the PI call gave the ball to Balt inside the 10 i think at a time when neither team could score.
