Okay before I get knee deep in wings and beer, though I would post a few shockers.
As many of you may know I am mostly a dog player anyway so this may not "shock" anyone, but here goes...(all moneylines are 1/2 unit)
Buffalo +6 FOUR UNITS
Bills +230
The Bills will attack the Steelers through the air today and I am not sure if they run too often against that Steelers defense--they will try to attack them like the Pats did. Granted Fitzpatrick is no Brady, but he is looking pretty good.
The Steelers are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games following a win of more than 14 points
Bears +3.5 THREE UNITS
Bears +145
Although I will be biting my nails throughout the game since I will be betting on mistake prone Jay Cutler, the Bears defense looks pretty impressive lately.
They can use the Giants blueprint to contain Vick and are faster than the Giants in key defensive potions. Eagles have letdown after big divisional games. The Eagles are 2-5 ATS in the L7 against teams with a winning record.
Rams +3.5 THREE UNITS
Rams +165
Does anyone outside of Denver think the Broncos are any good? The secondary is vulnerable and the Rams could easily win this game. The distraction of McDaniels-gate will make this a tough week for the Broncos.
The Broncos are 5-21-1 ATS in their last 27 games as a home favorite.
Jags +7 TWO UNITS
Jags +270
The Jags are actually pretty inspired football at the moment. The G-Men have injuries all over the place especially on the offensive line. The Giants are in a big divisional sandwich and could be looking right pas the Jags. The Giants are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 home games.
Miami +3 ONE UNIT
Miami +125
I was on the silver and black bandwagon for a little while, but jumping off for this game. The pressure is on Dolphins to try and keep up for a playoff spot. Tony Sparano is feeling the pressure and Henne will be under center for this game. Marshall won't play at wide out but look for a big game from Davone Bess who is playing in front of the hometown fans. A big dose of the running game and the Dolphins can pull off the shocker in the black hole. The Raiders are 6-20 ATS in their last 26 games as a favorite.
I considered the Panthers but did not have the stomach for it. Considered the surprising Bucs but they implode when the play a playoff caliber team.
