so your point is? because crompton, a senior played better last season Kiffen is qualified to coach at SC?

They gave up 500+ yards to UW and after the game, kiffen gets off this quote on Washington's final game-winning drive. "W e weren't going to stop them,'' Kiffin said. ``We were dead.''

Ya I'm sure you want this guy coaching as much as i want Dorrell back at UCLA.
:mj07:

I suppose thats an improvement from the near 600 yards they gave up to Hawaii.

Im glad UW beat them. This is not a top 25 team, not close. Its a joke they were ranked and hopefully this loss knocks them out of it.

Kiffin is a joke, has always been a joke, and will ALWAYS be a joke. The ONLY reason he got the UT and/or USC job is because of his fossil dad, "The Don" and Tommy DeVito(Ed Orgeron). His dad has not made a defensive adjustment since leaving Tampa, and DeVito will eventually take the hit for his fawk ups.

If he had any since, he would have stayed at UT, which I am now glad he didn't in spite of Doogie Wilcox as DC, because there are more "traditional" offenses in the SEC. Oregon and Stanford are going to hang 70 on The Don and all of those stupid bastids will get what they deserve.

Kiffin is a good QB's coach, period. I will say that, but his ego and father can only take him so far.

Don't give me this - you are mad because UT lost BS either. Dooley is 10 times the man, and 10 times the coach as Kiffin. The DC lost the game yesterday, not Dooley. The Vols are playing with freshmen and walk-ons because of injuries and "secret" phone calls Tommy DeVito made to several recruits telling them NOT to sign with UT and go to USC. The only reason Kiffy had a "press conference" where he took NO QUESTIONS, is so Orgeron could call recruits and tell them to de-commit.

Even Wilcox, who I think is a joke, had better stats than "The Don"

"The Don" is giving up 23.8 ppg and 418.8 ypg, while playing NO team in the top 10 or 12. How are all those 4 and 5 star recruits working for him?

Wilcox is giving up 24.8 ppg and 376.8 ypg while playing 3 top 10 or 12 teams(depends on which poll). The Vols have a WR playing CB!

Won't it be fun when the new AD at USC goes to the little one and tell him he has to get rid of "The Don":mj07:

USC got exactly what they deserved. They had a coach that knew what was coming and still denies he knew anything about it, and they get the same POS to send their program into 5-10 years of infamy.

Fawk On!

Dude, your an idiot. How did he cheat?

Your just stupid. He was there for the USC cheating. The NCAA is investigating his recruiting at Tennessee which he said he was proud of. Tennessee Titans are suing him . . . need more?

It's hard to prove someone else's knowledge of something at a certain time. That's while you'll see terms like "knew of should have known" or they refer to lack of institutional control. . . Anything like that in the report?

Since when is UT a top 10 program?
Top 15?

Haden hates him?

If you're number #1 goal is compliance, then yes, you would hate him. Read his quotes, note the look of discomfort he has whenever he mentions his name. This will end badly.

What world do you live in? You are a moron.

Good Luck with your genius!! and welcome back to the world of amateur athletics!! :0074

So much hate. Skipper does bring up good points about Monte. But the fact remains BBC doesnt have a clue as to what "cheating" is. This is the same guy who said last week ND was cheated in that epic SC-ND game because Leinart intentional fumbled out of bounds. Dont even know where to begin with that astute observation. Brilliant. All he can say is USC cheated. Kim Dunbar is cheating. SC didnt cheat anything. SC got screwed by Bush and his step father.

SC is in trouble because:

1) Carroll didnt recruit linemen the last few years.
2) People esp in the Pac have figured out SC and how to play them in the Pac. See how well they played vs Ohio St vs Stanford, Oregon, etc last year. All their loses in recent years have come in conference.
3) The Pac is a ton better than its been recently at least since all the coaching talent left the NW about 8 years ago. Although, UW is still mediocre - AT BEST. Sark seems to have SCs number.

Carroll was great, but was really slipping towards the end. This program was out of gas last year and got run over by the better Pac 10 teams. There is not the talent at OL, DL, LB that theres been in the past. And, hitching the wagon to Matt Barkley may prove to be fatal. Kid had 1 amazing year in HS - and it wasnt his senior year.

But also Skipper, if you say you are happy with that coach of yours, you are only fooling yourself. The guy has loser written all over him. Never going to be his daddy. The buck stops at the top. And, given it was a slightly less of a shitforbrains move than Les's, it was still a matter of snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory. Nice guys finish last in college football and this guy looks like hes out there trying to prove to daddy that he can coach. Bottom line - porky pig left the cupboard bare for Kiff. He improved the team. Dooleys got the same issues, but I doubt he ever gets that team back to SEC contenders.

I liked Dorrell, although I'm starting to really like Neuheisel as well. Crompton was just simply awful and painful to watch in his 2+ years of starting before his senior year. Kiffens quote is true. Is it not? Might as well call a spade a spade. Youd prefer him spewing BS? Time will tell on Kiff. He cant be worse than Paul Hackett.

I don't remember ever saying that Leinhart cheated in that game. . . about 4 horrible calls by officials in the last 30 seconds and a spot that defied the laws of physics, but not cheating.

I know what cheating is and knew that USC would be going on probabation a long time ago. Your problem is that you think that the only violations are in the report. You don't torpedo a program for one guy getting money from an agent (whether or not the head coach introduced the two). There won't be any further investigation on McKnight, LenDale White, BMW or any of the roid-induced LBs. The penalty was for the Carroll era.

And the fact that Kiffin went head first back to it shows that he still doesn't get it.

If you actually think Kiffy helped the UT football program in any way, you know nothing about NCAA football.

We will see how the Vols finish the season out. Like I said, I thought they would be 2-3 right now and they are. Dooley didn't lose the game, Wilcox lost the game.

Kiffin finished 7-6 with five returning offensive linemen. Seniors all over the place on defense. He helped Crompton, that is it. He LOST TO UCLA at home!

Dooley is playing walk-ons, three freshmen on the OL, two WR's converted to CB. Dooley lost 2 DLmen for the season in camp. If Kiffy improved the Vols, that would mean recruiting right? All of his great recruits are gone because they were all thugs.

Just because he was a good QB coach, doesn't mean he made the team better.

Bingo!

But come on BBC, should Pete Carroll really ask Bush why he is driving around in a souped up Escalade? That HBO puff-piece was the worst acting job I have ever seen in my life.

ut.

Escalade? Really? I thought the accusation in the report was that he got $ for a $4k 10 year old car (Chevy Impala or some crap like that) that he then supped up. The only player I know that is driving a new Escalade is the QB at OSU.

This incapsulates the problem. People just spout BS with no clue of the actual facts and then others repeat it. For the love of god, in the time it took you to make these posts, you could have read the report. The report is only 76 pages. Read it, not much to go on despite 4 years of searching. One player and his family getting paid by a felon/agent. If Bush was in the SEC, the story line would be about how these agents are just pimps trying to hurt college athletics. McNair will sue the NCAA for 10 million.

Your grasp of the facts are slim. Head coach introduced them? Huh?
Yes, that is it. The NCAA purposely held out all of USC's misdoings to help them out. You torpedo a program when the guy in charge of the ruling is Paul Dee. Former AD of Miami when the players where getting paid by Luther Brown helped out by the assistant AD at ND when Kim Dunbar was paying players. Yeah, those dudes are unbiased and have no reason to slap down USC. What Kim Dunbar did at ND was criminal - literally. ND admitted that their people paid players. USC is not even accused. Yet, ND lost how many scholies?

Its Sunday AM. Time to move onto the NFL. I have a feeling there will be plenty of time to bash Kiffin and USC this year. They are not that good and facing another year like last.

Here's my prediction, feel free to mock if it doesnt come to fruition:

SC will get sanctions reduced and McNair will win his lawsuit vs the NCAA.

I've got the facts, they're just not filtered with paranoia and delusion.

Interesting. Do you hate him because he judged the SC job above the UT job? That pig farmer he took over for and that moron that came after can hardly complain. Jury is still out on Kiffin. Not sure hes anything special and no idea if hes a genius or an asshole - yet.

All I know is that the end of the LSU-UT game was a battle of mental morons.

Thought this needed a "bump"

Hey Flapjack - you think he is a "genious" or an "asshole" yet?

BTW - that "moron" that came after Kiffin, is one win away from the same record. Oh, and that is with starting five new offensive linemen - 3 of which were freshmen - 2 new QBs, new running backs, and a guy that wasn't good enough according to Lame, to play at USC on the DL.
