Possible motivation issues for lsu having just missed a "home" game in the sugar bowl. Otherwise, I like the matchup.

I agree ST will be more up for the game but the talent differnce is still in bama's favor.

Good spot for LSU. If you look at LES MILES Bowl record its perfect other than last years debacle against Penn State and the field was horrible in that one. I am not a Les Miles fan but he does prepare very, very well for bowl games. As for any home field advantage there will be none, LSU has a ton of alumni in the Dallas area and has sold out of tickets. Off the top of my head I can tell you that LSU has covered in 3 bowl games, under Miles, they squashed Miami in the Peach bowl, they covered vs Ohio State in the NC game in 07 and covered vs Ga tech in Atlanta in 08. Smart money is on LSU

At first glance i Was surprised that LSu was only -1 I thought it would be 3.5 or 4. If LSU wants to show up they would prob beat A&m, but I doubt they want to be here. They were very close to a BCS bowl and now they have the cotton. Ags have beaten ou and nebraska since the qb change and they are every bit as good as lsu. crowd will be pro A&M and the team will be up for this game way more than LSU wil be. Also, smart money is definitely not on LSu 80% of the prublic is on lsu -1 and the line isn't budging.
