Obviously joking about an O/U of 95 in this game, but Vegas will have to be very careful in posting a number in this one.

I think Wisconsin handles TCU easily; that huge offensive line will allow for their RBs to run all day on TCU. Will hit the Wisconsin ML as soon as its up.

You do realize Wisconsin's starting OL only averages 2.8 lbs more than TCU's starting OL. I realize Wisconsin probably has better athletes than TCU has played this year, but they have faced big OLines. So, I'm not sure why everyone keeps bringing up Wisky's "behemoth" OL.

Also the DLines average about half a pound difference. This should be an evenly matched game on paper. On the field... We'll just have to see.

nah it's the same thing everyone has said about every team that Auburn has played this year. And people continually underestimating AU and betting against us have lost a lot of $$$ this year.

Cowherd's pac10 homer ass even said AU would dominate this game this morning.

ya i heard him talkin about that. should be a good game atleast im hopin. cam is the man no denying it. hopin for a lot of points and exciting fast pace game too watch when drunk!:mj06:

Maybe they bring up this OL since it cut through big strong D Lines of top teams like Ohio State. TCU may have played guys of the same weight, but like in basketball, some guys just play "bigger". I don't think TCU has played any team that will even come close to resembling Wisconsin in size and strength in action. Speed, yes.

I think this has a chance to be a pretty entertaining game, but in the end, I think Wisconsin will wear out the Frogs.

Also:
Miami (OH) vs. MTSU is going to be EPIC!!!

the TCU D-Line averages 6'3 270, the Wisconsin O-Line averages 6'6 325. Maybe the game is close the 1st half, but Wisconsin wears out the smaller Horned Frogs and wins by double digits.
Agree with Gmrozz about the level of competition both teams have seen this season. You don't score 83 and 70 points on teams just because those teams are bad; you do it because you have physically beat those teams into the ground--and your coach is a jerk who loves to run up the score...:mj07:
Should be a good game. Do I want to see Wisconsin dominate TCU? Sure. Will it happen? We will know by early evening on Jan 1st. Good luck this bowl season...:toast:

Not sure where you got those figures, but everything I've seen is TCU's D averages 280 and Wisky's OL averages 320. Not much difference though. 83 and 70 against weak teams. How come they didn't put up those kind of numbers against San Jose St or UNLV?

Anyway, that's why they play the games. I just don't want to hear Wisky wasn't "up" for the game or "didn't want to be there" if TCU wins. I'll be the first to come back here and take my lumps if TCU loses.

Glad you're saying that. Some of the ESPN "Experts" have already been laying the groundwork for that excuse.

Not sure why theyd say that. Its the best possible bowl we were gonna see, and its not like we play in it every year. Its been 11 years. From what Ive seen players, fans are pretty excited.

ya i dont understand why they wouldnt be excited. I mean they knew if auburn and oregon remained unbeaten they would play in the national title game as #1 and #2. They are in one of the biggest bowls and have a chance too show everyone they are the third best team in the country. I see no let down from them. That being said I still think it will be a good game, and think TCU will also be up for the game. I really hope if TCU pulls out the victory the dont try too play that card of not being excited.
