4-1 yesterday. Damn lakers did it too me again. Who allows washington too go on a 19-4 run in your own building...anyways on to wednesday.
OKC -5.5 The thunder lost a tough one last night on the road too the bulls. They shot the ball well at times, but in the end couldnt get it going enough too close the gap. Usually Durant or Westbrook will put em on their backs and get it done, but last night we didnt see that take place. I do however think that will be the case tonite. The thunder travel too Minnesota, where the timberwolves will host OKC in an arena where the wolves have only won 4 times this year. That is sad when you only have 4 wins in your own arena. With a bad 5-16 record overall, the timberwolves have really looked like they couldnt beat some college teams at points in this year. This is a clear case of two teams heading in opposite directions. OKC proved last year in the playoffs, and early this year that they are a team who can compete with the elite, and can bury bad teams. OKC knows they need too win this game, coming off a loss and then heading too New Orleans on friday where they will play a hornets team who also thinks they are contenders this year. This game should be a good spot for the thunder too rebound from last night and get a big win and get some momentum rolling into friday nights showdown with the hornets. Look for the thunder too win big here.
MEMPHIS +4 The grizzlies have lost their last 4 games, and 5 of their last 6. They have given up 111 ppg in their last 4 games, and are only 2-9 on the road. The suns on the other hand are winners of 3 of their last 4 games, and in that strech are averaging almost 110 ppg. At home this year, the suns are 6-3, and in those 9 home games, they are averaging almost 112 ppg. Looking at these numbers, I thought pure blowout was written all over the place with Memphis heading into Phoenix, but after seeing the line only being -4, well I guess I was wrong. This game sets up similar too the Charlotte game last night vs. the Nuggets, where Charlotte came out with the outright win. I think once again someone knows something I do not, and those people usually are much wiser then the average bettors. I am going too go with the same mindset I did last night in the Charlotte game, and go with a line that I think looks like a suckers bet. Also, remember that this is the grizzlies team that beat the Lakers and Dallas both on their home courts earlier in the year. I know taking a 8-14 team on the road is tough too swallow, but they have shown on nights that they are very capable of competing and even winning against some of the elite teams in the NBA. Take Memphis tonite +4 and they may come out with the SU win IMO.
MEMPHIS over 218 I gave you the stats of the Phoenix suns at home, and how capable they are of putting up points. They should easily break the 100 point mark tonite, and like always they shuold be able too get too the bucket and score points. In their last 4 games, the grizzlies are averaging over 103 PPG, and if they beat pheonix tonite like i think they will, well they will score way above that number. IMO we are gonna see a shootout tonite in Phoenix, and it should be a fun game too watch if you like scoring.
BOSTON/CHI/LAL/OKC/NO/MEM +4 PAR
With the exception of memphis, the other 5 teams will all be moneyline. I believe they are simply just better all around then their opponents. They all should be able too come away with wins, and hopefully fairly easy victories. Memphis may not win, but I think they cover the 4 for sure, that is why I am not playing them on the moneyline.
Goodluck on whatever you play.
