Ok this is what I just heard... Not saying it's true but a source close to MSU said it's Stoops and he is bringing his whole staff
Why would he make a lateral move like that. Another thing to think about that everyone leaves out is that he has kids in the Norman school system.
All this means to Stoops is another pay raise, just like the other times the UF job came open.
Why would he go there and recruit against the SEC guys, Fla st and Miami when all he has to recruit against in Okl is a 40 YEAR OLD MAN.
Sorry, but outside of SEC homorville it is not considered bigger. Both schools are now considered year in and year out title contenders. The coach will always command a top salary and they both get top 10 recruiting classes. The only difference I see is that Oklahoma has a much more storied history in football.

I hate it for you Corley, but I think Meyer made his move quickly so they could get Mullen before the Canes.

Not if you were about to kick over dead. This guy has enough cash to enjoy the rest of his life. Not sure who names their kid Urban but they must be damn proud of what their kid has accomplished. For my money he's the best in the business. Doesn't coach like a pussy like so many college coaches.
He is getting out while the gettins good with 20million in the bank. Sounds pretty smart to me.
