Delaware (-6.5) over New Hampshire
First off I bought the hook something I normally do not do but I like it under a td tonight. NH is 8-4 Del is 10-2. The last meeting was three years ago where a higher ranked NH team beat a Del team but that was in NH. Delaware has the best QB in D2. Devlin has 400 competitions and 5000 yards for his career. If that name sounds firmilar well he was one of the top players from high school and a prize recruit of Penn state. Now he has a great crew of wide receivers but he also has a young gun runner who is very capable of making huge plays. Andrew Peirce has 13 TD's and averages 103 per game. Now UNH has offense of it's own averaging 130 per game running and 227 passing which puts them 56 nationally but they are looking towards an inexperienced Decker under center. The kid had a lights out game last week but not sure if it was him or a bad cookman defense. Both teams are solid on defense. UNH is 16 overal giving up 306 per game while UD is 5 allowing 278 BUT UD is 1st in scoring defense giving up only about 11 points per game. Not saying UH gives up a ton, I think they allow 16 per game. I think the two Anthonys for UD in the secondary are a bit better than Vasso for UH. Waters and Vasso are tied with the most picks which is six on the year but vasso has taken more back to the house. Turnovers are important because UnH is 7-0 when they win the turnover battle. Now UNH has more sakes on the season but UD gave up only about 25 on the entire season. UD also leads the league with attendance at home games. More than likes which leads to the 12-4 record at home. They have 16 all conference players. Thus will be a good game and a scary fact is these two teams wins and losses between each other is under seven. But I like the factors for UD and they seem to have just a bit more talent, home field, best player Devlin, better run game and are hungry for this win. BUT UNH is 3-0 on the road against ranked teams so I am hoping the hens play to potential and pull away as the game goes on. Give that talented defense an opportunity to get in the inexperiwnced QB head force him to make mistakes and capitalize. Should be fun with UD averaging 30 points per game and UNH at about 27.
Cheers
