Would love a repeat of last year's record, who knows this year. I notice lines and movements to be much different this year and a little unsettling. Best place to start is the national championship.

Oregon +3 -108 x5
The better defense with lots of time to prepare wins the title most every year. The Ducks excel in to many areas. No need to add anymore, you can read plenty to justify your position with either team. It will be my largest wager as I plan on adding more later.

Humanitarian Bowl

NIU/Fresno St. under 59 -100 x5
Fresno St. +1.5 -110 x3

Weather looks a little iffy with a rain/sleet mix, winds 15 mph. Look for the Bulldogs to cut down on NIU's scoring chances. Fresno looks to get Rouse back, improving their time of possession. Fresno seems motivated to avenge an OT loss last year, are familiar with the field, and enjoy the Boise fans. With their bowl experience, a home field atmosphere, the NIU coaching upheaval, and the teams perspective bowl histories, also playing the side.

GL this bowl season Wolf! Are the X5 the sharp group? Well I am on Auburn but what do I know. I don't think that Cam can be stopped and have not been impressed by Oregon as of late. Can't go against the SEC in the big game! Happy Holidays!

Happy holidays big papi. All sharp plays.

Utep +11.5 -108 x3
Utep was probably the most injury plagued team in a bowl game. They are getting healthy and excited to play Saturday. Expecting a close game, and will take double digit dogs before New Years Day.

Should stick with my investment group friends (x5 plays)

1-2 so far.

Southern Miss +125 x5

This doesn?t appear to be a matchup that favors Louisville?s strengths. While the Cardinals boast one of the nation?s most productive RBs in sr. Bilal Powell (121 ypg rushing on 6.3 ypc), Southern Miss counters with a somewhat underrated defense that, despite permitting 40 ppg over the last 5, has given up a mere 113 ypg on the ground (No. 13 in the country). And Louisville?s own stop unit seems ill- equipped to deal with the well-balanced Golden Eagle attack (255 ypg passing, 203 ypg rushing, 38 ppg).

To compensate for a lack of overall depth on defense, the Cardinals employ a myriad of almost constant blitzes that have produced a whopping 38 sacks. But that strategy figures to backfire against USM, as quick-thinking jr. QB Austin Davis is not just an accurate passer (64% last 2 years; 51 career TDP vs. only 16 ints.), but also very mobile (436 yards & 10 TDs rushing this season). Plus, Davis is well- protected (Eagle OL has allowed only 16 sacks TY) and gets good ground support from young RB duo of RS frosh Kendrick Hardy & soph Desmond Johnson (combined 1364 YR & 15 TDs). Add in jr. PK Danny Hrapmann, a Lou Groza Award finalist who?s nailed 26 of his 30 FG attempts.

Can't ignore WVA defense.

Iowa +3 -110 x3

Hawkeyes hate for Missouri goes back a century, enough to play for besides the NFL scouts. Complete coaching mismatch, Iowa knows the business like routine for bowls. They also got rid of the spoilage in the refrigerator. Suspended RB Robinson got arrested in Des Moines on pot charge last night - good riddens.

Thanks Bad Angel, keep up your blistering picks. It is no surprise to me over the 10 years and always a class human being. I have no doubt we would be great friends.

Already posted these for today:

Illinois +1.5 -105 x5
Arizona +5.5 -110 x5

Adding:

Maryland -7 -120 x3
By the numbers, Terps win by a couple of touchdowns and basically playing a home game. My numbers say take the over here, thinking the wind chill and ECU lack of interest keeps it under and following some sharp money.

Maryland under 69 -105 x1.5
