I;m a huge Tampa fan. They are deflated but then again, you're the man. :mj06:

wood thanks for the kind words...

as far as the game, well I am just a big time believer in freeman as a qb...he is a winner. i think he will bounce back with a big game. a lot of guys in the league prolly would just pack it in, but i have a good feeling about this guy. they got some young guys who are flat out competitors, and im bankin on them too keep playin hard last couple games. I think they win something like 27-10. I figure games two ways and both ways have them winning by 14+ so gonna take a shot at em. Did I mention I like freeman as a player:0074

have good and safe holidays man ill drink a cold one for ya if the bucs cover!!

agree with ya on the steelers total....i dont think carolina will score much if any on the steelers D. They couldnt make this line high enough...im guesssin by kickoff tommorow it willbe around 16-17...

as far as the clev and NE games would love too hear your opinions man....

happily holidays to you too....:toast:

Cleveland.

Revenge spot here for the Brownies. 3-3 at home this year, and seem like the ultimate "play to the level of their opponent" team. Winning against NE, and beating NO in the Superdome this year, both by DD, this team has POTENTIAL to pull the upset. They would love to play spoiler here. McCoy has proven to be more of a manager QB as opposed to a playmaker QB thus far, but he's gotten some seasoning. A good trend is playing teams that have scored 30 or less in the last 3 games. Cleveland is at 36, but low enough for the public to run away from this team. They just played 3 straight on the road, lost to hapless Buffalo, and even worse, Cincy. Baltimore is coming off of a win in Houston, in a game where I felt the defense really lost a step, and not skill wise, but were just poorly conditioned. They get extra rest, and beat New Orleans at home. Certainly the last 2 games at Cleveland, and home against Cincy probably weren't circled in the beginning of the year, but it is a division game, and they'll need to keep pace with the Steelers, who finish against Carolina (short week) and Cleveland (long week). The line stinks to high heaven, and I'm not taking the bait. Doesn't make sense, and I think we discussed in the NBA forum, if it were 6.5 or 7, I'd probably stay away, but because it's 3.5, I like Cleveland.

New England -9.

Big game for the Patriots, who always finish strong. The question is, will they cover the 9? They were a 14 point home choice against Buffalo earlier this year, and only won by eight, in a game that caught them off guard a bit. The offense, and make up of the team has changed, especially with the departure of employee #81. Since the first meeting, the Pats have gone 7-3-1 against the number, and 5-1 on the road ATS. Big wake up call for them last year, as the game came down to essentially the last play. Thanks to the Herm Edwards-esque job by GB, the Patriots are riding a 6 game winning streak, and can lock up home field throughout in the AFC. Belichick has always stressed how important this is, and I think the Patriots come out swinging this week. The Bills are 2-5 at home, 3-3-1 against the math. They come in riding a 2 game winning streak after beating Cleveland, and going into Miami last week and winning as an outright 5.5 point puppy. Their wins have come against Detroit, Cincy, Cleveland, and Miami. The Patriots have run the gambit of playoff teams, and torched a couple of them on the way. It's interesting as this has been one of the toughest teams for me to cap. They dont lose the "let down" or "trap" games, (Bears, Chargers), and tend to just blow away, or disregard any trends. I think this one is a laugher.

Good Luck my man.

ADDING:

Last two of the day most likely.....

LOVE BOTH OF THESE ..... and i love home dogs at this point in the year. I know cincy has nothing too play for, but a lot of times that is the case were teams still show up and suprise a lot of ppl, ecspecially bettors! I think that is the case here and cincy keeps it close!!! Raiders, well simply are better then most ppl realize. They can absolutley run the ball unlke most teams, and that is Indys biggest problem stopping the run.
