Just curious if anyone else likes the Skins today, or am I way off base? I also think the over might be a good play, so here is my logic:

1. The Jags defense is way over-rated, they are 28th in the the NFL in PPG, they give up the most yards per pass attempt in the NFL, they have been shredded for over 150 rushing yards in each of the last two games and their defensive line fails to generate any rush.

2. Grossman might actually be an upgrade over McNabb, as far as getting the ball downfield.

3. Pressure is on Shanahan to have the offense improve this week and his son to call a good game.

4. For the over, if Jones-Drew is out or limited then it will create more passing attempts for the Jags thus extending the game. Another benefit is that with the increased passing there is more opportunity for turnovers or big plays.

My only problem with games like this is that you are basically investing your on to a team that has nothing to play for and is trying out new things (QB for example) to see what they have for next year, versus a team that must win for the playoffs.....I don't like my money being in the middle of that.....

However, I do agree that the over might be a good play here.....

I'm also liking the skins and over here....

grossman looking to prove himself and shanahan always trying to win to justify benching mcnabb.

I looked at them, but a non-conference road game on Christmas weekend could also be a good spot for an already shaky team to quit.

Still, I don't like Jax without MJD. No play.

Skins not that bad, Jaguars not that good!

Skins not that bad, Jaguars not that good!

Skins are susceptible to more wide open teams like the Giants and Eagles...Jaguars not of that type...Skins hold their own against grind it out type of low scoring teams like the Jags...Grossman is actually an upgrade over McNabb...Skins put up 30 last week and it was legit (albeit against a bad Cowboy D)...with one game under his belt, expect Grossman not to get off to a slow start..Skins put up 21 at least..Jags...maybe 24? Skins could win this outright
