Iowa's all time leading reciever Derrel Johnson Koulianos has been suspended for use of cocaine, weed, etc...

This lead to Iowa doing some random drug tests the next practice on players... From what I'm hearing right now, there is going to be some big names suspended. As of now, these are just rumors, but there is expected to be a press release sometime later today. What I'm hearing right now is...

Jewel Hampton and Adam Robinson are the two most likely to be gone... Jewel Hampton had a facebook status that said "FORMER Hawkeye!!! What should I do next" and Adam Robinson said "Hmmm.... first and for most...LIVE IT UP". I can say with reasonable certainty both have played their last game for the Hawkeyes.

Brandon Wegher is also transfereing from Iowa, this has been known for awhile though

Marvin McNutt is the next name I am hearing, but have nothing to back it up. If we lost McNutt and DJK, are WR core takes a significant blow, but I have confidence that Keenan Davis can step up big time.

I'm also hearing that Ballard, Binns, Prater, and Bernsteine are all involved in this as well. I feel most confident taht Bernsteine is going to be gone out of this bunch. I don't have any solid sources for the others, but they are all rumored...

my friend says they have been talking about that since dec. 13th. But he did tell me that Adam Robinson who was suspended because he was not going to class, was picked up in Des Moines last night for pot. If i hear anything else i will let you know. ARROW:toast:

He was arrested again today at home and likely won't be back with the team, ever. Coker will go tonight and he's the best of the three.
