Going to post a play I really like.. I am not playing it for obvious reasons but here it is....

I know the Vikes were el spectacular on Tuesday night but that I think was more of a fluke than the the norm.

Eagles could not handle the blitz and it cost them dearly..

Now to this week's game.. The Lions have a HUGE HUGE advantage in the fact that their defensive line should dominate the Vikes offensive front. The VIkes have rookies and terrible backups playing this game. Expect Peterson to be reasonably stopped and Vikes in 3rd and longs most of the day.

On offense the Lions receivers should get open against a Vikes weak secondary.

Now last Tuesday the Vikes looked like world beaters but this was the first time in a long time. Do not expect that type of play to continue.. If it does then hats off to em..

Detroit hasn't beat the Vikes in years and I think they will be primed up to get the win. The Vikes have many many unsigned vets who won't be around next year.. Lieber, Pat Williams, B. Barrian, L Shephard. Watch fot the Vikes to play what youth they have and also watch for these Vets to pack it in.

I agree with you, the short week is going to hurt the Vikings and Rice not playing etc etc. I have a question for you. Do you think the Vikings are going to grab a qb in the draft in the 1st or 2nd in the NFL Draft?

Well that all depends on what they think of Webb.. If they really think he can be the future then I think they pick up McNabb or a Palmer.. If they do not think Webb is the future then yes they draft one..

Lets look at Vikes Biggest weaknesses.

O - Line

Hutchinson is older and breaking down.
McKinney is older and overrated
O Sullivan I think just sucks.
Herrera just had knee reconstruction
LoadHolt show promise but is a question mark.

Vikes need O Linemen BAD.. When you have AP a offensive line is needed and with those guys no QB will stand upright.. Many want to blame Favre but the running game not consistent, penalties, and poor pass protection hurt this team.

Secondary..

Would love if Winny moved to safety but they could sure use a D - back or 2..

So yeah I would like a QB but at the same time they have huge gaps to fill. They are losing a lot of players and will have tons of money to spend to fill holes but with CBA in question who knows what they can get and may have to do it all by draft.. WHcih means they have too many holes to take a Q and go with a Vet and McNabb.

Quit gettting me on these tangents..
