I love them tonight!! The big play is in my Bowls thread, but I wanted to make a point to make a seperate thread for the games I really liked.

I think they are too physical for the Hogs. I think they have extra motivation and focus with all the crap going on. I think between the Big 10's poor showing, their record vs the SEC, and the tattoo garbage that they will have an extra edge. I loved them before all these factors and the line hasn't budged when it could have. I think Tressel is as good as anybody and will take him over Petrino all day. Mallett is a stud, but they will rattle him. The Buckeyes will run wild. 37-20?

Jord, not arguing your selection but to say you think State is too physical for the hogs? You really think they are more physical than the teams the hogs have faced in the SEC west this year?

Actually I do think the Buckeyes are more physical than most of the SEC teams... especially on Defense. Arkansas can't run really well, and I think with that, it should play into Ohio State's hands making them a little too 1 dimensional on offense. Ohio St. will be ready for them to slow down there offense enough.

And I think Ohio St. will run wild on them. Auburn dropped 60 on them. That Bama game was a perfect setup for them. Bama was #1 (and had Florida on deck) coming into their place... Arky jumped on them, but they didn't have the toughness to win a game against a physical team. I think that's what it comes down. Confidence and toughness. The Buckeyes have that, the Hogs don't. I like the matchup.

If defense wins games you're as good as gold. I see almost all of OUS's games and there is one thing that bothers me. Tressell plays it pretty close to the vest and often plays to not lose. That's fine when facing inferior talent but often creates disaster when up against better teams.

I really like this game to go under the total.

I agree on Tressel, but I am thinking that he is going to loosen up tonight given all the background noise. I also think they will take control and maybe run in some cheap ones later on.
