I met him this morning. I guess just you hockey buffs would know who he is. Pretty big guy and by the looks of him you can tell he is crazy. Think is nose was busted a few times, but in the video below he knocks this guy out.

There is no tougher job in all of sports then the NHL "tough guy", what those guys go through is mind knumbing:scared

All those guys hands are completely fucked for the rest of their lives, punching helmets will do that. Feel bad for what those guys go through.

Almost all NHL players are good guys, especially the "tough guys". I have not met Lyle, but the ones I have met are nice guys.

One tough job that's for sure.



Oh, as as for broken noses, almost all the "tough guys" have broken them so many times it is like their nose is useless. Take a look at Tim Hunter's nose (Leaf assistant coach) his nose is maybe the worst, comical how bad it looks.

Yea I was going to title this thread to you since I figured you would know who he is. Nice guy though, not strong weight lifting wise, but he is country strong and heavy if know what I mean. Wide body and I think he feels this PA weather is like being on the beach or something.

I loved watching the guy and loved trading for him on EA SPORTS NHL cause they guy would demolish your's on the check..

Sucked if you played with penalties on as Lyle was know to get a roughing call or 2 and sometimes he would get the fight instigator.
