Hey bound, when you say you are watching the over get hammered...are you referring to consensus %'s on that 2H number? Do you mind sharing where you get this info?
BASED ON 3 FORUMS NOT INCLUDING THIS ONE..... (HAMMERED MEANS TO ME 7 OUT OF 10 PLAYERS OR MORE APPX)...
With the little time of HT's to see what is happening, I really am paying attention to what is happening on 3 forums.... The "Public" at HT, IMO, is represented by people posting like myself, yourself and anyone else who does what the "majority" is doing... (that may sound confusing as fuck, cuz Im confused on what I said as Im pounding Crown n Cokes and eating reeces pieces....)
So, what USUALLY happens is in 1st 5 min of the half Im reading posts as fast as I can trying to figure out if people r just tailing or actually posting themselves... And when the line drops.... LIKE Denver got hit on the over hard 2nd half on the forums and the line dropped twice... I saw 104.5 to start, then 104, then 103.5.... Problem was, I took (gave away) 200 of 400 bucks trying to middle on Denver who really didnt give a shit tonight.... BUT, it was when what I SAW, BELIEVED, and then bet on, HAMMERED, whatever you want to call it, the 3k super bet was placed because of the "MAJORITY" of posters that posted total 2nd half plays were taking the over, and my book was LOWERING THE LINE.... BACKWARDS MOVE... AND THAT IS USUALLY A WONDERFUL THING... WHY? BECAUSE TO ME, IT MEANS People are thinking, stating and positng, "Hey take the over, look how low it is now... Boy, the book fucked up on this line... THE OVER IS A LOCK!!!!"... WRONG!!!; In MY EXPERIENCE OF 100s maybe even a 1,000 2nd half opportunities that are like this with this situational line movement (I call anti public line move situation), GOING AGAINST THE MAJORITY PAYS 8 out of 10 times it seems.... (Not sure exactly, but I will take that bet EVERY SINGLE TIME I CAN; It will work so many more times than it will fail you...." You can look back through my 2nd half plays this year, and I know without a doubt, Im up 10s of thousands on THESE SITUATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES.... (Of course, I lose playing too, but this is definitely a system that MAKES MONEY EVERY YEAR, WITHOUT FAIL, over the course of the season.
And you will also notice, I am much more confident in 2nd half plays of NBA then ANY OTHER TYPE OF PLAY IN THE #1 FIXED SPORT IMO, (NFL IS RIGHT BEHIND THEM)

Definitely makes sense...I understand your strategy, just wasn't sure where you were getting info about the public sentiment (which I know see is from other msg boards).
Last question...do you think the reverse line movement is just the Vegas books baiting people, or do you think there is actual wiseguy/sharp action that is moving the line the opposite way?
