Milwaukee -150 (2x) and Milwaukee RL +150
I hate laying this much chalk, but I see this game no other way. The Brewers had the best record in baseball during the regular season Milwaukee averages a tick under 5 runs a game. Starting for Milwaukee is RHP Freddy Peralta who was 17-6 on the season with a nice ERA of 2.70 along with 204 K's in 176 2/3 IP. But, his splits are even better. He was 9-1 during the season at home with an ERA of 1.77 and an opponents batting average of just .192! During day games, he was 6-3 with am ERA of 2.86 and an OBA of .175! In addition, he did his best work down the stretch going 5-1 in August-September with an ERA of 1.76 and his last start vs the Cubs on Aug 18th, he shut them out on 1 hit through 6 innings! Meanwhile, The Cubs start LHP Matthew Boyd, who despite an excellent year, was a totally different pitcher on the road, going 2-7 with an ERA of 3.90! In addition, in his 2 starts vs the Brewers this year, he gave up 9 ER's on 12 hits and EIGHT bb's in just 10 1/3 IP for an ERA of 7.84! Play Milwaukee for a 2x play and on the RL for 1x..........

Philadelphia -122 (3x)
-The Phillies come into this series with the Dodgers a stout 55-26 at home and have gone 21-6 L27 at home while the Dodger are a very pedestrian 41-40 on the road and just aren't the same team away from Chavez Ravine. Today, the Phillies start LHP Cristopher Sanchez who was 13-6 with an ERA of 2.50 overall during the regular season. At home, Sanchez was a perfect 6-0 with an ERA of 1.94 and 115 k's in 97 2/3 inning pitched and an opponents batting average of .198! During the day, he was 3-1 in 10 starts with an ERA of 2.29! Meanwhile, the Dodgers start RHP Shohei Ohtani who had a decent year pitching (not supurb) and the Phillies have a lifetime .282 batting average against him. I like the phillies to take game #1 over the Dodgers behind Sanchez.

Toronto -123 (2x) and Over 7' (2x)
-The Blue Jays have been laying in wait for the winner of the Yankees/Red Sox series and although the Yankees are 8-1 their last 9, all of those games occurred at home. On the road they are only 42-37 while the Blue Jays are 54-27 this season at home for a positive outcome of +$1677! In addition, Toronto is 7-3 their L10 head-to-head vs New York, The Jays start RHP Kevin Gausman, who was 10-10 on the season with an ERA of 3.59! In 3 starts this season vs the Yankees he was 2-1 with a 3.57 ERA and an opponents BA of just .202! Meanwhile, the Yankees start RHP Luis Gil who had an ERA of 4.38 on the road and in his last 3 starts he had an ERA of 5.19 giving up 22 base runners in just 15 2/3 IP. Finally, in 2 playoff appearences last year, he gave up 6 ER's in 8 IP for an ERA of 6.75!

Detroit +185
-First of all, I'm not really that high on the Mariners and there is no way Seattle should be favored by -222, so I'm going to take a chance with Detroit as an underdog. These 2 teams had basically the same record during the regular season and Seattle was swept 3-straight by the Dodgers to end the regular season. The Mariners start RHP George Kirby who had a very mediocre season going 10-8 with an ERA of 4.21 and was 6-8 with an ERA of 4.39 and an opponents BA of .270 at night! In addition, in his 1 start this year against Detroit, he allowed 4 ER's in 5 innings for an ERA of 7.20! Detroit, meanwhile, at one point in the season held the best record in baseball and they just disposed of Cleveland in their wild card series. Detroit starts RHP Troy Melton who made 16 appearances (4 starts) during the regular season with an ERA of 2.76! He was a perfect 2-0 at night with an ERA of 1.44 and an OBA of .171 and has the luxury of never facing Seattle. Play Detroit at the absurd price of +185..........

Hey, I'm a Brewers fan. I love the write ups too. My other corrective post was also about a Brewers post, also related to Freddy Peralta. Sorry if I came across as a jerk. Just wanted to correct the typos for anyone following. Good bet Junior.
