Well. Like I said, it's the field umps call at first. You originally said the 3rd base ump overruled the home ump. But a call at first should be the field umps call. I don't overrule any ump unless I'm asked on an appeal, then I'll ask my partner in some, not all, instances, if he had...- LuvThemDogs

I'm an umpire for high school and college softball. Not knowing the play that happened, but going by what it sounds like you're saying, it was a two man crew, a home ump and a field ump.
