Didn't handicap overnight, so write-ups will be limited tonight.

San Diego +123
-The Padres come into this game winners of 6 of 8 and now just 3.5 games behind the Dodgers in the NL West. Tonight, they face the Miami Marlins who are just 22-28 at home and have been OUTSCORED in this role. This is mainly a gut feeling with not a whole lot of stats to back it up. I like the better team at a nice underdog price to keep up with the Dodgers.

Pittsburgh -123
-In this contest, the Pirates start Paul Skenes, the best 4-8 pitcher in baseball with a sparkling 2.01 on the season. He has good current form allowing only 2 ER's in his last 3 starts, spanning 15 IP with 21 K's! He has already beaten Detroit this year and is 2-0 lifetime against them with the Pirates scoring 18 runs in his support. I believe he will get the necessary run support in this contest that he has been missing all season. Despite getting off the schnide last night, the Tigers are in an offensive funk, scoring just 3 runs in their series with the Rangers. The Tigers start RHP Jack Flaherty, who is just 1-4 with an ERA of 6.57 in his last 5 starts. Furthermore, he is just 2-4 on the road this season, going 2-4 with a bloated ERA of 6.08. He is 0-3 vs the Pirates his last 3 starts and got blasted for 5 ER's in just 3 IP against them already this year. The Pirates are a very respectable 26-24 at home this season and we look for them to get the win tonight in a total pitching mismatch

Please check back later for more plays.

G/L to all............

Philadelphia/NY Mets +125
-I like the chances of both of these teams winning, but both are too high of a price for me so I'm combining them in a parlay. Philadelphia comes into this game vs the Red Sox with a very nice record of 31-18 at home and start RHP Zack Wheeler who is nice 9-3 record and a 2.36 ERA this year. Over the last 5 games he has an ERA 1.32 and he is very good at home, going 6-1 with a tiny ERA of 1.91! Boston starts Walker Buehler who has terrible current form with an ERA of 8.87! He is awful on the road, sporting an ERA of nearly 9.00 and quite frankly I don't know why this guy is still pitching. In the other game, The Mets host the LA Angels New York starts RHP Kodai Senga who is 7-3 overall this year with an ERA of 1.39. In his last 5 starts, he is a perfect 5-0 (with 2 consecutive shutouts) and a stunning ERA of just 1.32! At home? He is 5-1 with ERA even lower at 0.96! Again, these 2 games feature HUGE pitching mismatches. I feel both of these teams win easily and at a nice underdog price to boot.

Milwaukee +105
-The Brewers come into this contest having won 10-straight and are now tied with the Chicago Cubs for the lead in the NL Central. Milwaukee starts RHP Brandon Woodruff who is making his third start since coming back from injury. He has won his first 2 starts this year, allowing just 3 ER's and 7 hits in 10 1/3 innings pitched with 18 K's! He will be facing RHP George Kirby who is 4-4 on the season with 4.50 ERA. In night games, he is just 1-4 with a 4.99 ERA and an opponents batting average of .271! Granted, Seattle has played well recently as well, but the Brewers have been playing better and we will take them as an underdog.
