At this point, I am pretty sure they can't course correct, they have nobody within their party who is capable of leading a comeback and any moderate donkey (a dying breed) is too afraid to say or do anything. You know it is bad for their party when their best voice of reason for the last year has been John Fetterman and look how they treat him when he talks common sense or agrees with something Trump does, they want to ostracize him from the party.
