I know you're on the blue jays for the series but looks like this has game 5 written all over it.

Taillon tomorrow to get a win for the Cubs is another one.. looking forward to your capping & write ups on these games.. either way gl the rest of the way Junior

Detroit -110 (2x) and Under 8'
-This is a very difficult game to handicap, there are pros an cons for both teams, so I'm going to make a somewhat small bet on the Tigers to force a game 5. I'm going to start by noting a quote that I found on one of my capping sites "A year ago today, Detroit pitcher Casey Mize was told that he was not going to be on the Tigers' roster for the American League Division Series." So, you better be damned that he is glad to be here. People forget that Mize started the season like a house on fire, going 8-2 with a 3.14 ERA in April-Through June before running into a rough patch in July-August and then righting himself down the stretch. He finished the season an impressive 14-6 with an ERA of 3.87. His current form is decent, going 2-1 with an ERA of 3.29 in his last 5 starts. He pitched well in the wild card game against Cleveland, giving up only 1 run on 1 hit in 3 Innings pitched! In 2 starts this year vs Seattle his results were Jekyl and Hyde. In one start, he gave up 6 ER's on 6 hits in 3 IP taking the loss, and in his other start, he shut Seattle out on 1 hit in 6 2/3 innings pitched getting the win! Meanwhile, starting for Seattle is RHP Bryce Miller, who had a poor season, going 4-6 with a 5.68 ERA. During the day, he was even worse, going 1-2 with a 7.38 ERA. However, Miller is 3-0 career vs Detroit giving up 0 (zero) ER's in 19 innings pitched! Based on on that data, its very hard to pick a side and total for this game, but I don't see Seattle putting up 9 runs like they did last night vs Flaherty and Co. Play Detroit (2x) and the Under each for 1 unit.

Milwaukee +108 (2x) and Over 6' (2x)
I feel that the Brewers get the 3-game sweep today vs the Cubs who simply arent hitting scoring just 9 runs in their 5 playoff games (and avg of 1.8 runs per game) Milwaukee was a very nice 46-36 on the road this season scoring 5.01 runs per game and a positive outcome of +$2181! Tonight, they start RHP Quinn Priester who went 13-3 with a 3.32 ERA overall this season and pitched even better on the road, going 6-1 with an ERA of 2.91 and was 9-2 with an ERA of 3.47 at night. In 2 games started vs the Cubs this year, he was 2-0, giving up just 3 ER's in 11 IP for an ERA of 2.45! Meanwhile, the Cubs start RHP Jameson Taillon who went 11-8 with an ERA of 3.68 overall this season, but (in his last 6 starts) he only went more than 6 innings once and never broke the 90 pitch barrier averaging only 76 pitches an outing, so if the Brewers work the count, the Cubs bullpen will come into play He was a nice 5-2 at home with an ERA of 3.15 ERA but at night he was just 4-5 with an ERA of 4.58! Furthermore, in 3 start vs the Brewers this year, he was 1-2 with an ERA of 4.50! In his only start this year IN Chicago, he took the loss, giving up 5 ER's on 8 hits, 2 HR's in just 4 IP for a robust ERA of 11.25 and and a OBA of .275! The total of 6' is very low, especially for a team like the Brewers who have put up 16 runs in their last 2 games. Play Milwaukee for (2x) and Over the total of 6' for (2x)

NY Yankees -170 (3x) and NY Yankees RL +120 (2x)
-Toronto blew their chance at a 3-0 sweep of the Yankees last night, blowing a 6-1 lead in the process. Now, all the momentum is on the Yankees side. New York had a very nice record of 53-32 at home this year! Tonight, the start RHP Cam Schlittler who has been absolutely fantastic as of late, going a perfect 5-0 in his last 5 starts with an ERA of 1.74 and in his last 3 (including a playoff game vs Boston) he is 3-0, allowing 1 ER in 20 1/2 IP for an ERA of 0.44 and 27 k's! His only blemish is he is 1-1 on the year vs Toronto with the loss coming in NY, giving up 4 ER's in 1 2/3 IP. I'm going to go ahead and check that off as an anomoly (it happens). Without that game, he is 4-1 at home this season with an ERA of 1.94 in 8 starts and 4-0 in his last 5 home starts with an ERA of 0.84! Although the Jays can score runs, you have to remember they scored 6 runs in 3 innings last night and were shutout the rest of the game by the Yankees bullpen. Meanwhile, Toronto (only 40-42 on the road) will start an opener in Louis Varland who pitched last night, giving up 2 runs in 1 IP. It looks to me like it's a bullpen day for the Jays and only they know who follows Varland, but I'll take my chances with Schlittler over the Jays combo any day. This is a very steep price to pay, but I don't see the outcome any other way. Play NY Yankees for 3x and NY Yankees RL for 2x.

Appreciate all of the write-ups, Junior! QQ - is the Tigers play 1x or 2x? You have 2x listed but say 1x in your write-up. Thanks for the clarification and sharing all of your plays! 🍻

LA Dodgers -175 (3x) and LA Dodgers RL +120 (2x)
-As much as it hurts, the Phillies are going to get swept tonight by the Dodgers. The Dodgers come into this game 54-29 at home this season while the Phillies are just 41-41 on the road. The Dodgers start RHP Yoshinobu Yamamoto who is probably the hottest pitcher in baseball right now. In his last 5 starts, he is 3-0, giving up 3 ER's in 32 IP for an ERA of 0.79, giving up only 11 hits and striking out 43! In is last 3 starts, he hasnt given up a run in 18 innings pitched with 23 k's! He is 3-0 in playoff games with an ERA of 2.84! In addition, the Dodgers have won 9 games in a row, scoring 54 runs for an avg of 6 runs per game. Meanwhile, the Phillies start RHP Aaron Nola who has been a complete disaster this year, going 5-10 wit h a 6.01 ERA on the season. On the road, he is 0-6 with an ERA of 6.97! In his only start vs the Dodgers this year, he lost 5-1! Play the LA Dodgers for 3x and LA Dodgers RL for 2x...........

The Phillies 1-3 hitters with 800 million in contracts, have just 2 hit in first 2 games with 11 strikeouts. Same story for them unfortunately, bright lights come out and they fade. They are pressing again...I love Schwarber but they are going to have to hit his bat at this point to get him going. First 2 games he hasnt seen the ball at all... 0-for-18 with 10 strikeouts in his last five playoff games stretching back to last year's NLDS, and is 0-for-21 with 13 strikeouts in his last six total games. I expected this again from them, but am hoping for a miracle bounce back. Great write-ups good luck with all your plays!
