Are you saying people who don't believe in the supernatural are "weak?" I would say it's the opposite. It's easy to simply accept.

Regardless of what side you are on, religion attempts to brainwash children at an early age. Why? Why not wait to teach religion until children are older, let's say 13?

Is it because they have to get to you at an early age so you can't make your own rational thoughts?

Those who don't believe have to break away from brainwashing and do their own critical thinking. I have a few family members who hate the fact that I don't believe, and it would just be easier to comply.

Also, who really doesn't want to believe? Even though I don't, I wish I did, but I can't be there. I also asked questions. Like, who created God? Was there an intelligent design that created God? The answer I have often received from Pastors and religious friends is frequently "He always existed and has always been there." So the supernatural was just there? I can't accept that. Even a supernatural would have to be created somehow, someway? Like a "Big Bang."

The answer of just existing is, in my opinion, weak. So then we get to the Bible and its teachings. The story of Adam and Eve, to me, makes for a big fairy tale. To me, it's so outlandish and laughable that I can't wrap my head around it. There are so many instances of fairy tale-like teachings that I won't get into. So I guess I can go on and on about the science of it, but in short. I want to get there, but just can't. I have asked questions, and the answers don't make any sense to me. So if that makes me weak, then so be it.
