Good Morning, BoyZ .. Wednesday's NHL POD OVER 6' Montreal vs. Ottawa was a POD LOSSAH, Montreal 3-2.
( - 5.8* ) units Wednesday on posted NHL plays and now am + 20.8* units for the week on posted NHL plays.
Too tired to stay up & try to cap 14 games in pucks. Nova plays Thursday, & I'll wait for LL's write on the game.

The 24-7 Villanova Wildcats are in Madison Square Garden to play the 15-17 Georgetown Hoyas in the Big East Conference Quarterfinals. Tip is 9:30 pm eastern on FS1. Nova is -6.5/140.5.

The Hoyas beat DePaul in a rock fight last night to advance to today’s game. The last time these two met on February 7, the Cats won 80-73. The winner will likely face UCONN in the semifinals tomorrow.

The Hoyas are led by a pair of guards Malik Mack (13.8 ppg) and KJ Lewis (14.9 ppg). They also have two 7 footers with Vince Iwuchukwu (12.1 ppg) being the most productive. Caleb Williams (8.8 ppg 37.7% from 3) is the most capable of the remaining 3 players who get most of the playing time. Mostly, they shoot from in the paint as they are below average shooters from deep as a team. They aren’t great at guarding the 3 so Villanova should get good looks. They also don’t turn the ball over much.

Villanova lives and dies beyond the arc as they have 5 players who can fill it up from deep. Duke Brennan is their 6’11” inside and rebounding threat. He lives on pick and rolls plus is an adept passer. Askew has been hot lately (43% from 3). Lindsay is still in a shooting slump. Palmer has filled in well for the injured Hodge but the bench is now thin.

Nova should have a vocal crowd at the Garden. They’ve come a long way this season and it won‘t stop here. Look for the ‘Cats to hold serve and move onto the Semifinals.

This is, of course, a braindead play against tanking teams. The Bulls are a scrappy team and if it come down the the last game I may buy the Bulls @ (+11.5) and try for a middle.
