Former NBA star Bernard King is one of the players he recruits, as is former UCLA player Michael Warren. Former UCLA coach Jim Harrick is the basketball advisor for this movie; he has a non-speaking role during the climactic game at the end.
— Managing a fantasy baseball team is more fun than rooting for a team, because I have a say about what goes on with my team. Rooting for the A’s, a team that doesn’t really try to win, is aggravating on many levels. At least in fantasy baseball, if my team loses it is my fault.
Problem is, sometimes you wake in the morning and see that the catcher you traded for went on the Injured List with an oblique injury; not good. First game he played for my team, he got hurt, second time that happened in the last week.
