San Antonio is in the NBA Finals for the first time in 12 years.
Spurs were +16 in 38:00 Julian Champagne played, minus-8 in the 10:00 he sat out.
Spurs shot 17-40 behind the arc.
NBA Finals start Wednesday: Knicks at San Antonio.

— A’s 6, New York 4
A’s get a much-needed win, snapping a six-game home losing skid.
JT Ginn allowed four hits, an unearned run in six IP.
Kurtz, Langeliers, Soderstrom all homered for the A’s.

— Phillies 4, Dodgers 3
Edmundo Sosa hit a two-run homer in the top of the 8th.
Jhoan Duran recorded his 12th save, pitching a scoreless 9th inning.
Under is 16-2 in Phillies’ last eighteen games.

— Freddy Peralta has finished the 6th inning in only four of his 12 starts; the Mets’ defense is suspect, which hasn’t helped much, but in his last three starts, Peralta allowed 11 runs in 16.2 IP.

Friday against the Marlins, Peralta threw 94 pitches, but didn’t finish the 5th inning; Marlins fouled off 21 of those pitches, whiffed on 12 of them. Mets need more length from Peralta, but they need to put a better defensive infield behind him.

— Chicago White Sox put 1B Munetaka Murakami on the IL; he is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a Grade 2 hamstring strain.
