Colorado, Arizona, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania and Oregon have rules prohibiting prop betting on college athletes. Iowa, Illinois and Connecticut do not allow college athlete prop bets involving in-state teams.
As I mentioned in my reply, here in Canada it got completely out of control, new laws were passed at we are all better for it. I do disagree that it should be banned completely (like cigarettes), that seems a bit of an over-reaction.
