    Rookie of the year question

    Hey! A small question concering the Rookie awards this year. Is it only based on that it's the players first year in the NBA or does age have anything to do with it?. Will for instance Emmanuel Ginobili be considered as a rookie, even though he's 25 years of age. Hope for response:)
