Question for Axle

Question for Axle

Not a bad day.... :toast:

Thanks for posting Axle. Just a question for you - even with all the winners, it still only grinded out a $5.60 profit on across the board betting (of course, depending on your denomination of bet over $2 times $5.60). My point is that if you only can grind out this type of profit on a good day, the bad days must wipe out these profits in no time.

Please don't take this as a dig as I enjoy reading all your posts on the track. I am just questioning you as to the realistic possibility of profiting on betting favorites consistently. Or is it more of a way of staying in the battle for the long haul and having some fun? Would appreciate your comments as it seems you have been in the game for a while. Thanks.

Also wonder if you thought Denis of Cork had a shot in the third leg at BELMONT against Big Brown or if I am just trying to find an unrealistic shot at an upset in the Triple Crown races. Thanks if you can share your input.

Yes I have been in the game for a long time. I have posted in the past that I do have a day job, this is just a hobby for me, and I love the game. and the name of the game is picking winners.

When I end up on the plus side of the ledger at the end of the year, it has always been because of exotic betting exactas, tri's, doubles, pick 3's, etc. I don't usually post exotics, except for an occassional pick 6.

I haven't looked ahead to the Belmont yet...that race has ended many a tirple crown bid... :SIB
