God this Conn-SA real audio broadcast is horrible as the voices are distorted. I wish this game was on the dish.

I really did like the under in the Conn-SA game as we have a clear battle of a team that can score versus a team that is having trouble scoring as they have new faces & have not gelled offensively just yet. I trust Conn will put up some points but didn't see SA contributing enough so I had to go under. I almost went under 1st H as well.

I think NY does it today. They are good when it comes to home openers & in my opinion this line is asking for Washington money. I know NY has a good home opener record but to the average person I don't think they can understand a team who just lost by 24 yesterday turning around & being a 4 pt fav today & will probably bet Washington on that angle alone.

Personally I like the fact that NY's next game is today as I'm sure they are pissed at the drubbing they took yesterday & instead of being steamed for a few days & not being able to wash out what happened, they get to turn right back around & flush this out of them.

I like Minnesota alot today as well. The Comets as a small road favorite look way too obvious against a team they have pretty much owned so principle alone made me like Minnesota & take a strong look at them.

GL today with the foots & hoops.

Connecticut +3 2nd H

I really like this play. The books are pretty much asking the 4 pt fav to just lose by 1. In my opinion that says alot right there.

I don't feel San Antonio can win this game as they might have a lump in their throats right now. They dominated the 1st H & had a lead as big as 11 pts in the first H but now find themselves down 4 at HT. Why is that so bad?

Well I don't think it bodes well when you played good defense holding the Sun to 29.3 shooting, dominated the paint by an 18-10 margin, had a better FT % & a better overall shooting % (albeit 33.3 %) but still find yourselves down at HT.

I just don't think they are all together just yet & don't see them all of a sudden putting it all together in the 2nd H to win this game.

I do like the under in the 2nd H as well but won't play it as it puts the game total at 139 & I already have under 147. The Sun should start shooting better in the 2nd H but don't see the Silver Stars contributing enough.

I will pass but if anyone was wondering, the under looks nice if you don't have it for the game already. I must admit I'm a little surprised the # actually went up at HT.

I'm passing on the 2nd H between Washington & New York. I will offer some opinions though.

New York as expected as come out with a ton of fire as they looked quite motivated to get on the court to play today while Washington looks like they don't have their legs under them.

The announcers mentioned that Washington bused to Cincinnati last night then took a flight directly to New York & got in late & I agree with them, they look like they got in late.

New York is dominating in alot of key catagories & in the ones they aren't they are not doing poor either as they shot 80% at the line while the Mystics shot 100% but the Liberty shot 4 more FT's. They are losing the fast break pts 2-0 but that isn't a problem. They also are 0-3 from beyond the arc.

FG: NY 51.7 Was 34.6

Rebounds: NY 16 Was 12

Fast Break Points: Was 2 NY 0

Points In The Paint: NY 22 Was 2

The 2 stats that stand out immediately are the fast break points & points in the paint. Those 2 catagories are the reason why Washington is losing by double digits. The fast break points show that the game is not being played at the Mystics pace as they have not been able to get transistion buckets like they normally do.

They are being decimated in the paint as well & seem to have no answer for the Liberty's inside game as they are executing some nice backdoor plays constantly.

It seems like deja vu again for the Mystics as they are not getting any contributions from the usual suspects as once again Dales Schuman was held scoreless in the 1st H. They will not do much in this game if she doesn't step it up as Holdsclaw isn't lighting it up as she is shooting 25% (1-4) & only has 6 points.

I don't think Washington comes back today as they just don't look like they have it & unless they come out of their shell & the Liberty fall asleep they will probably leave NY with a loss.
