06.22 World Cup Plays recap

Wow-South Korea in the semi's? Who woulda thunk it? Turkey as well? The balance of power has shifted in this sport at least in this cup...early thoughts are Brazil to get by Turkey though Turkey did look impressive against Senegal and I actually thought Senegal the more capable of the two to beat Brazil before today. Germany should be able to beat S. Korea-it was a nice run but it will end. South Korea looked ragged out there today. I dunno-I'll take the weekend through Monday to figure it out.

In summary as for today's personal plays:

5-3 +470 and overall ytd 75-73 +1285

My goal is to hit 15 units for this cup which will better the 14.6 units I hit for in 2000.

Nice job, hash. And I agree w/ your early thoughts on the semis. Cream rises to the top this late in the tourney. I see Germ(-0.5) +110 at Oly. You think that # moves either way?

Hey Chucky,

Germany -05. at +110 is a good price right now....that will get closer to -100/-105 closer to game time imo.

Cartman-those odds look about right for the two matches though we could see the draw climb in the Brazil matchup. That game should not end up deadlocked. The game that could have been a draw (Eng-Braz) didn't end up so and neither will this one.

Hash great job so far.. like you ive been playing the dogs ...was profitable tourney for me as well ....But i have to believe one of these dogs come through been that kinda cup .. Taking both dogs either wins im ahead .. Good Luck All Sparky :shrug:

Hey Sparky38-thanks alot!

I still feel both faves move on though I certainly can see why taking both underdogs makes sense financially. I took the weekend off to relax and concentrate on baseball and will get back to football/soccer tomorrow. Good luck.
