I thought that was good advice as I glanced at her looking up from the commode.

The Jets quarterback reached a milestone in his recovery from offseason rotator cuff surgery, throwing in both practices Monday. The first step was throwing once a day on consecutive days. The next, two-a-days. The team held him out of the preseason opener against Detroit as a precaution, but Pennington should play Friday against Minnesota and, barring injury, is expected to start the regular-season opener at Kansas City.
