Have any of you heard or are participating in this contest? If so maybe anwers can be swapped or others can offer possible solutions to some of the riddles. Basically, 100 questions/riddles are given and must be solved with an answer or a pic of the answer. The team must consist of 4 smokers aged 21 and older. Here are a few puzzlers. I would appreciate any thoughts:
1) To fill a bunch of bellies, this good man, transformed something military into something culinary. Tell us his name and send in a pic of this eating innovation.
2) A burro's breakfast is usually pretty simple. But, there is an event every year in Nevada, where he gets to chow down something special. So name this event and cook us up one of whatever he's having and send in a photo of it.
3) Send us a photo that shows a certain California drive-through during its almost 90 year span of operation, before a snowstorm in the late 60's put it out of commission.
4) The handle "Cloud City", wasn't made up out of thin air. What's the real name of this western town and the reason behind its loftly label?
5) When you're tough as stone, it doesn't take folks long to notice. Name the town that was only 5 years old when the President threatened to impose martial law.
6) People say that it was the only light of its kind for over 2,000 miles. And when it went out, it was laid to rest in its very own coffin. There are still many lights like it, so send us a photo of one.
7) If you're looking down at a painted cowboy and a painted fishhook, straighten up and send us a photo of the gal you might see.
8) This bandit was born in San Francisco in 1895 and, a decade later, gave rise to a gang that has been taking peoples money ever since. What is it and what's its name? (I am thinking slot machine)
Any thoughts or ideas as to where to look for the solutions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!
