SCar is no pushover but IMO for them to win this game Downey has to have a huge one and put up about 30 by himself.

I think Baylor can keep him somewhat in check and Baylor has more options to go through offensively than SCar who relies on one guy.

If Downey has a bad day, its all Baylor.

Also like the fact they have proven themselves on the road.

SCar is going through some issues with Archie now done for the year and Mike Holmes dismissed from the team yesterday.

I expect Udoh to be the difference maker. SCar really has nobody to contain him and should give them hell on both ends of the floor.

Notre Dame/UConn over 150

Very hard to imagine Notre Dame puts up less than 70 in this one, and UConn needs this win badly. Should be a close game. Irish have a bunch of shooters, hard to cover them all. UConn will need to match the offensive output by the Irish if they want to win because I don't think you can put a lid on such a potent offense for the entire game.

Notre Dame with the points is worth a big look too.

Northwestern +5.5

Not sure why they arent getting respect. Took Illinois to the wire @ Champaign. Tall task.

Not overly impressed with Mich St this year...haven't proven themselves on the road unless you give them a lot of credit for a win @ Citadel :shrug:

Northwestern could take this straight up, but ill take the 5.5 and force Mich St. to win by 6 to beat me.

North Texas -1

Should get a road win tonight. Bryant is Ark St top scorer and rule out with a separated shoulder. First game without him will be tough to adjust and find those extra points.

NT has too many edges in this one and I think they offset the home court. Better on offense, better at the free throw line, and really spread their offense around not relying all on 1 guys shoulders.

Should be able to offset the home court Ark St has. Also like the fact NT played tough @ TAMU. Lets see how they do on the road in conf play tonight.
