Pittsbugh is playing back to back but they have done well in that position all year. Hedberg looked great yesterday and he will be in net again. Pittsburgh is finally scoring goals again, with eight in their last three games on 78 shots.

the past 4 years Pitt has played 77
back to back games and have only won
both on 8 occasions.
Maybe today will be #9.

I am just looking at this year's results in the second game of back to backs:

vs. Dallas, w 3-2
vs. Toronto, w 3-1
at Florida, l 2-0
vs. Islanders, t 3-3
vs. Buffalo, w 3-1
vs. Boston, l 4-2
at Washington, t 4-4

3-2-2 record, but the important point is that they have shown the ability to be competitve on the road all year in the second of back to backs.
