What am I missing here? I would have set this line at 6 easy and probably taken the over on that!

Detroit is mid pack on goals scored and goals allowed while San Jose is scoring at will. San Jose is top 5 in goals against, but on the road they have given up more than 2 per game. I can see a 4-2 or 5-3 type game for sure.

I don't think you are missing anything. San Jose's on fire averaging almost 5 goals a game themselves. This is a great game and I just think Detroit is a very well coached team who will dictate the pace of this game at home. While I'm not willing to bet Detroit as a dog I think they play it tight and sneak out a 3-2 or 3-1 win. Good luck and somehow I doubt whatever I said helped explain my play.

Also Dan Boyle's absence tonight should be a damper on the PP for the Sharks. Also out will be Brent Burns' energy and grit which will also take away some offensive boost. GL DaMan :)
