probably another good day to fade me... went to a halloween party last night and didn't get home until 8:30 this morning. i need sleep. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
northern illinois (+16.5) 1 unit. the huskies have been a big disappointment this year, but not as big as these hawkeyes. this game can make the huskies' season. DDD that outrushes their opponent. although i am very concerned that garrett wolfe only has 93 yards on 35 carries the last 2 games. and those were against western mich and temple. western mich has been very stout against the run this year, but... temple? really? anyways... more of a play against iowa anyways. 1-6 ATS. they left everything on the field against michigan.
navy (+13.5) 2 units. ND is 1-5-1 ATS on the year. navy has covered 4 of the last 5 against ND. another DDD that outrushes its opponent. only thing keeping this from being a bigger play... the navy qb was TERRIBLE when he came in for the injured starter against rutgers. i just hope johnson has him ready to play. if he is anywhere near that bad against ND, the midshipmen are in for a very long day.
wisconsin (-21.5) 1 unit. wisky is 6-0-1 ATS. why not ride 'em?
miami oh (-5.5) 2 units. can't really give you a good explanation here, but the redhawks should roll.
baylor (+5) 2 units. almost a 3-unit play. a&m is not good enough to be laying conference road chalk. they've pulled a couple covers out of their a$$ on the road the last few weeks (kansas, ok st). i play the bears once every year... today is the day.
purdue (+3) 3 units. hate to go against my boys, but this is another bad spot for them. they are 0-3 ATS on the road. their defensive seconday (completely new from last year) has been very vulnerable all season. and purdue is 4th in the country, averaging 310 yards per game through the air. i'd love to be wrong on this one, but i don't see the nittany lions winning this game.
ohio st (-27.5) 1 unit. buckeyes have covered 7 of last 8 against the gophers. tressel will try get the late score for the cover.
tenn/sc under (44) 2 units. i look for a defensive battle, reminiscent of last year's 16-15 game.
miami/GT under (37.5) 2 units. would have like this even better if chan gailey was still calling the plays for the yellow jackets. but i see the defenses dominating this game. strong lean to the hurricanes as well.
FAU (+6.5) 2 units. yes, the owls are god-awful bad. but i look for arksansas state to have a bit of a letdown after beating memphis and north texas. oh, and the indians play at auburn next week. in a repeat of last year, final score 3-0.
