Never been a big Dodger fan, having been raised in the shadow of the fvckin' "A"... big ED, whatever....

... but I must say this is piling it on.... no one should get this many injuries....

the dodgers whole team is banged up like you said. its a sham watching them, but its not like they can do anything else. their team on the field for the last month is no better than any triple A team.

testament to their pitching that they are even somewhat competitive in games.

garrett anderson is pure class and a great competior. props to him. plus he won me 2k at 20-1 in the all star hr derby a few years back has always endeared him to me.

congrats on mopping the floor with the dodgers this year.

I just got into this discussion with a friend of mine that is a die-hard Dodgers fan. The Dodgers are struggling and, yes, they have injuries, but with the exception of Gagne, O. Perez and Bradley the rest of the guys are role players.

Their problem has not been pitching. Their starting pitching is keeping them in most games. It's their hitting and Bradley is the one guy they miss the most. Valentin was hitting .194 with 2 HR's and 12 RBI's so nobody can say his bat is missed.

I can't say I feel for the team because I'm a Padres fan and we have our share of injuries with Eaton, Loretta, Nevin and Hernandez. The bottom line is teams get injured and they need to find a way to produce in spite of them.

I don't think GA's 3 RBI's are tarnished. He got them off a regular starter, Lowe, and reliever, Sanchez. Sorry to ruin your vent, but LA has very little to complain about other than poor management and bringing in bad players.

Idiot

it was a joke that ivabign got that apparently you didn't. of course his record isn't tarnished. just venting about the dodgers.

its not bad management it's bad ownership. and you are dead wrong about their only having 3 key injuries. Their offense as all offenses do rely on role players to score. the dodgers don't score runs period. 31 in the last 13 games. Under 2.5 a game

Gagne
Bradley
Perez
Drew
Ledee
Valentin
Werth missed 50 games

The padres injuries don't compare. all your guys missed limited time and the outlook is good for all of them

I have no animosity toward you other than the fact that you are a Padres fan. But the fact is your season is shaping up similar to the Dodgers of last year. You will finish ahead in a weak division and get your ass handed to you by the Cardinals. Hope you don't because I like to see the NL west do well. The one thing you got going for you which the dodgers didn't last year is a cy young type pitcher in Peavy. If Bochy can pitch him twice in a playoff series and he is lights out you got a shot. But lots of baseball to be played between now and then. gl with your season even if you are a padre fan.

I'm looking forward to a competitive second half. I'm hoping the Dodgers get healthy soon so they can take the Diamondbacks off our back.

In the meantime, let's help each other make some money.

BTW, I've got extra tickets to the Dodgers/Padres game on Wednesday if you are interested.
