Why would you buy 3 points on a total and almost double the juice? Not much value doing that, just a good way to go broke!!!

Sorry, don't mean to come off like I'm raggin on ya...but in my opinion doubling the juice and getting almost nothing in return for it is a really really bad strategy. It means you've got to win 2 out of every 3 times that you do this just to break even, and there's just no way those 3 points come into play that often.

No opinion on the actual play yet, but good luck.

I mess with #'s & it works for me which is why I did it. Those 3 pts I can easily see coming into play.

I don't take you as ragging on me, just offering an opinion ;)

Hey TCSN,

Ok, glad you weren't offended. :)

Well, the points ~could~ come into play...but I see the chances of that being the case kind of remote. Certainly if you did this routinely, I think you'd find they don't come into play often enough to offset the massive vig. You've bought it down below 41, which is good, because 41 is a fairly common final total. Still... I don't really see the value of ever buying points on a total, and even on sides it's kind of a rip-off unless you're buying onto or off of the 3 or the 7 I think.
