Would LOVE to see colleges go to one preseason game and then play an 11 game season.
I hate the fact that for years and years college pusidents excuses for not playing a tourney is b/c too many games for players, etc.
Now everyone plays 12 games and its just for money. Money for the extra game and money for extra bowls. A lot easier to go 6-6 than 6-5 to make a bowl which is still ridiculous to pretty much guarantee a team wins 6 games goes to a bowl.
Why not just play a tourney with the top 8 teams and let everyone go to a bowl. How much of a reward and how much does it mean if you can go 6-6 and make a bowl. Its garbage.
I say if you do that, then give everyone the advantage of that extra practice and game. Play 11 games and then a crappy bowl...
