I really wanted to bet Vandy and game over tomorrow, but Stowers being out has put me on pause. He's critical to their offense. Showers will do great in the NFL right offense. WR that plays tight end.

Is dickhead Pavia playing tomorrow?

Stowers was an on the move check down for Pavia, going to be tougher for him to spread his Mexican Magic 🎩 ✨️ 😀

Alamo Bowl
I have a brief window to at least get started on this game. Hopefully there aren't too many opt-outs.

Oh shit, never mind.

USC is without their top two WRs (Lemon and Lane), their top 2 TEs (McRee and Lyons), their 2nd-leading tackler (LB Gentry), and starting FS Ramsey. The other safety, Fitzgerald, who led the team with 5 INTs (nobody else had more than one), has declared for the draft but hasn't said he's sitting out the bowl game. I think that's all the highlights. DC Lynn has left.

TCU is just missing their QB, Hoover, who threw 413 of their 420 passes this year. 2nd-leading receiver Dwyer was injured during practice and will miss the game. FS Bud Clark missed the finale and is listed as questionable. He's 2nd on the team in PDs and tied for the team lead with 4 INTs.

Lincoln Riley was born in Muleshoe, TX.

Ok, I've just been given my 10-minute warning before dinner, and I doubt I'll be able to finish up afterwards, so I'm just going to get to it and hope I'm not missing anything.

This probably comes down to how Ken Seals plays in place of Hoover. Seals started 3 years at Vandy. His last year, in 2023, was his best, and he still only completed 59% of his passes for 6.6 yards/att, but he greatly improved his TD/INT ratio, throwing 11 TDs and just 4 INTs. He has some weapons around him. RB Payne averaged 5.7 yards/carry, and really finished the year strong, rushing for 403 yards on 61 carries (6.6 yards/carry) his last 4 games. WR McAlister, who I THINK is still playing, averaged 17.5 yards/catch.

I'm rushing this, but I'm going with TCU. Hoping Seals will be fine.
