My first "free-throw" today will be the under 183' in the Char/NY game.

Why:

-First, the Hornets have not been scoring well of recent. In their last 4 they have hit 90 only once!

-In the last 4 games they averaged only 86 pts/gm which is almost 7 less than their seasonal average of 93.7.

-Are you going to play the over here and hope:

1) The Hornets break outa their "funk" in an early day game?? Hope'n Charlotte partied down last night as dnugs indicated was a good possiblity!

or

2) This problem riden Chaney team carries the scoring burden for an over the total of 183'??

I just believe your odds are better if you don't rely on either of the above. Furthermore, a sluggish start by one or both of these two teams makes me take the unders here.

--->Char/NY Under 92' 1H

&

--->Char/NY Under 183' total for the game

Feel free to comment guys! After the events that transpired over the weekend, we need to DILIGENTLY work at work'n together......now more than ever.

One thought I left out of my initial post....

One thought I left out of my initial post....

Linesmen set this one right at the seasonal scoring average of each team Char..93.7 & NY..89.6 for right at 183.

With the Hornet's recent UNDER their seasonal average and the Knick's recent OVER their seasonal average makes this an interesting play.

Looks to me like the linesmen just pulled out the average and said for lack of a better number....just use that!

To me it's advantage EARLY weekday (holiday) game.....we shall soon see. GL ez

like the Knicks under, too. The Knicks O consists of Spree and Houston and not much else. If one of these guys have an off day, they'll be hurting for points. GL

EZ, I don't post much but here are my thoughts on the Under. I have no stats to back this up but as I review scores from Sunday Afternoon NBA games they seem to lean toward the under. I believe that afternoon games throw off the schedule of NBA players who normally play between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. I think afternoon games normally lean toward the under. Maybe there is no validity to myclaim but I would agree with your Under pick for today. Thanks just my thoughts, jjoseph12:)

Gentlemen....good points each!

Throw in dnugs comments on Charlotte's party boys Wesley and Elden I'm an under player here.

Weatherspoon's return to the Knicks has produced only 13 pts.

They just said Davis rolled his ankle in warm-ups. Showed him hobbling but he is a go! If that tightens up.....that's alot of Charlotte offense riding on that ankle!!!

Hurt in warm-ups???? Wow ez

EZ--We have a bunch of games to go! Go get em. I think Baron Davis didn't ge the memo on the Afternoon games. Maybe he skipped the partying last night. The 2nd Half should resemble the 2nd Quarter. Good luck the rest of the day! jjoseph12:cool:

Hope'n I have some better fortune here than that 1H "phantom" no shot clock violation in the Hor/Knick game!

Losing a play is one thing but how ya lose it can grate on your ability to "focus". GL and let's get some winners roll'n........RIGHT NOW! ez

This team is a shambles. They even suck defensively now. They are keeping up their part of the bargain by not scoring but they can't stop Charlotte worth a damn.

Going to make small play on Chi +3. This is Indy's 5 game in seven days. Still no O'neal. Counting on Bulls unable to brick that bad twice in a row. Would like to take over, but just can't.....
