- - I see Andrew Luck playing exceptional, his teammates following suit, and that being enough to win the day against this familiar foe.

Dallas(-2') over Seattle (1*)
- - Making a game time decision to play Dallas . . . The 2018 Seattle makeover, and franchise deep efforts on behalf of beloved team owner Paul Allen, already rate a success. On the other side, Dallas is definitely still a glass half empty regime, going back a long ways . . . There is a real chance this game is decided in the final moments, in which case Seattle QB Russell Wilson is an absolute assassin and has never been better, while all the pressure will be on Dallas, and will have been for the full 60 minutes . . . In the final analysis, Dallas needs to play lights out and avoid repeated instances of negative situations on first downs on offense, third downs on defense, turnover margin, etc., and for this home opportunity I'll take my chances Dallas makes it across the finish line.

- - Under "ideal" field conditions I thought the matchups and the intangibles offered value on a super charged Chiefs squad facing a short line to separate and close over Indy as a still dangerous dog. But a gritty Indy team with QB Luck at the helm seems built to play quite a few different ways at a high level, with these equalizing conditions almost ideally suited to their strengths.
