#16 seeds

I have the same talk every year with the same people about a #16 seed. I wanted to hear everyone elses opinion....

Will a #16 team beat a #1 team in the next 1-10-20-30 years or ever?

Imagine how many brackets would be losers after 1 day.

Not a chance in hell... I don't know why they put those teams in the dance... No one from the SWAC will ever upset a #1 seed

Texas Southern had Arkansas beat in the mid 90s but blew it in the last minute. Michigan State got taken to OT one year and of course the Georgetown-Princeton game. UConn was down DD pretty late to Albany as well. A few other nailbiters.

Never say never but extremely unlikely. Tough it has happened in pelt ball when Harvard won at Stanford.
