I bet the same amount for all games. I started the season with $100 and have been just rollin it over.
I see to many people taking 6 or seven games a day. I do one at a time and if i see something that stands out i will play as many games as i see fit.
Yesterday l loved 5 games and would have won them all if it wasnt for the mets 14 inning loss.
I used to play big time baseball and have many contacts throughout the league. Some of my former teammates include the giambi bros, milton, kotsay, erstad, to name a few.
I just to this for fun so every selection is i choose is just a $100 never more, never less and i will only post if i feel it is a strong play, i will never post a play just to play.
sorry for the confusion and best of luck.

Fairly new to the board, but was just wondering what's your background? Appreciate yout insight, especially putting out consistent winners. Also agree with you on your style of wagering. Have always felt bases is the best to make a profit, but most don't remember this is a marathon, not a sprint.

thanx again

I played D1 college baseball and played two years in the cape cod league. I lived with eric milton for a summer and played with the best. I just never made it that far . I was drafted once and never went for many reasons and baseball is my passion.
i just enjoy watching the games and having a little money on a game just makes it that much better.

I wish you could tell Milton to quit giving up the long ball today? ha ha
Reminds me once I was in the Houston airport, started talking to this gentlemen in the long ticket line. He was from California, said he was an All American bases pitcher at USC years ago. Played in minors for something like 7 years and never ever made it to the "Big Show". He just talked about people he knew and played with, cool stories. He also pointed out the fact that baseball is so competive. Kids from many different countries now playing the game and all the US little leagers. Reminds me of golf now a days.
Appreciate the post.

BGH: Do you have any thoughts on that Col/Hou? Normally I wouldn't touch this but this game is on ESPN and I like wagering on a game that I can see; (more than just on ESPN.com pitch by pitch). Your input would be greatly appreciated.

This game actually really stood out to me. I really liked houston in this matchup, The only problem is Denny Neagle worked all off season to have a big year. I usually wont take any games played in colorado because they are to unpredictable. I wouldn t play this game.

Agree on being in Col. Still, I took Hou for 1 u. Thanks. Nice record. I play too many games but I am still up 14.6 u's from last week. (29-9). Waiting on Pitt for 2u's and Hou. My fav team is Clev and they are finally playing this year and looking great today. Didn't wake up in time for that over though. :(

Hey BGH

Hey BGH

Just wondering if you bet the Money Lines or do you bet the run lines... For example the Marliins ML is -140 right now but the Run line - 1 1/2 is + 140 ... I like the +140 but do you think the game will be tight or do you think the Marlins will win by atleast 2 runs?? Would really appreciate your insight and would like to give ya some Props on a great job so far  Keep up the good work... Its great to have ya aboard.... Lets all work together and make some Money...

I always bet the money lines. Especially with certain teams. It is hard to take runs in baseball, certain teams play different styles of baseball. For example floridas closer looper is not that good. I played against him when he was at wichita State and he has always been up and down. He usually will close the door at the end of a game but he probably will give up a run or two in the mean time.
Personally i would rather just have to worry about a team winning the game.. and if you are going to take the runs and the underdog it makes more sense to bet the money line and make a little money.

just my opinion, best of luck and take the marlins tonite.
