During the last 5 games memphis has outscored their opponents by 4.2 points for the first half. Over that span the Clippers have been outscored by 6 points in the first half. The grizzlies have been strong lately at home while the clippers have struggled on the road with the rockets and hornets. Also, during the course of the season, memphis has outscored their opponent in the 1st half by 3.3 points while on the flip side the clippers have been outscored by 2.5 points. Their difference in scoring in the first half during the last 5 is a whopping memphis +10.2 points and for the season is memphis +5.8 points. the spread here is griz -2 for the half and I will go w/ that:SIB

The wizards have been great in the 1st quarter of their last 5 games having outscored the nets, bulls, mavericks, and bobcats twice by an average
of 4 points. Now keep in mind that 4 out of 5 of those games were @ home. In contrast, the Jazz have been bad in the 1st quarter over the last 5 games being outscored by 6.6 points, but 4 out of those 5 were on the road. With that in mind, I still feel like the numbers, showing the Wizards
+10.6 over the jazz in the first quarter is worth a play. This is the first game of a hugely important west coast swing for the wizards and I think they will come out as strong as they have been recently. :SIB

Now in the 2nd quarter of the wizards and jazz last 5 games they have been pretty even. The wizards gain an additional 2.8 points on average over their opponents to average +6.8 for the 1st half. The jazz get back +2 points in the second quarter over the last 5 bringing them at the half to -4.6. Still a difference favoring washington @ +11.2 points. I'll ride this wave:SIB
