Really like the NYR tonight, yes the Strangers. They actually upgraded alot on D in the Kovalev trade, with Wilson(very solid) and Laukannen who I saw play for 3 years with the Sens. This will no doubt help them in the defensive zone and Laukannen is a good guy for making that first outlet pass. All you have to do is look at my 10 Unit play thread from Wed. and it tells you all you need to know about Pitt. This team is down right pathetic. They had McKenna and Samuelsson playing with Mario, you got to be kidding me. Teams can focus on Mario with a defensive center and completely take away any chance the Pens have of winning. Pens are going to hope to win 1-0 the rest of the way as they have no depth at the forward position. Pens showed against Ott. that they are going to wait for a mistake in the neutral zone and hope to capitalize for any scoring. I see at least a 2 goal NYR win.
Caps should roll over Car. who look like they have no confidence and are returning from that dreadful road trip in which they lost all five games.

Playing:

NYR -.5(-140)2 Units
Wash. - PK.(-160)1 Unit

GLTA!

Really like the Rangers play also... I also wrote about this game in ddubs thread if you did not see it yet. It kind of reflects your views.

Keep up the great plays! All the best for tonight! :D

Y'all gotta do me a favour and check out the odds for that Pitts and NY game @ proline.ca -- I just dont understand it. How are the Rangers such a high favorite like that?? At first I was thinkin Rangers, Rangers, Rangers...but why?? Cuzza Kovalev?? *ack* hmm I think it just hit me...Hedberg...sucks! I dunno though, Im kinda feeling pittsburgh to win this one. It just feels like a trap taking the Rangers @ an odd of 1.55. I gotta see some write ups sexier than Alicia Keys in a bright red thong to make me pick a side for this game. Good luck to all and may your picks tommorow be great ones! Happy V-day too! Hmmm, while Im on the topic of sexy ladies...where da heck are they in this forum?!?! I guess ladies dont like to bet  Once again, good luck!

Peace

Hope everything goes well for you Horns. I am not on either play but I think the Rangers are strong.

Caps worry me because last time Carolina played Washington I thought they got the better of them in the run of play but just gave up untimely goals to lose. Their confidence should be high for this game and it is just difficult in the NHL to follow up a 5 goal outburst with another high scoring offensive performance. Also I generally like teams returning home from poor roadies. I know this is treading on your thread a bit but I just wanted to point those two things out. All the best to you tonight.

Good stuff Horns!

Good stuff Horns!

Rangers won last meeting vs Pitt due to three former Penguins beating up on their former team. Now they got an even more skilled Penguin to help out!

Always worry over Rangers's focus and discipline on a game and noticed this--When Rangers get a win after some losses, they generally play their next game well (2-1-1 last four in this situation, the loss was close one on road to MTL on 0 days rest).

I think I'll just keep going against 'Canes when I get a good price. for well over half their losing skid I kept finding good reasons to not go against them...

good luck Horns!

ND, you are absolutly right about the Penguins, they have packed it in and I hear Straka may not play tonight either, so 0-0 is the best Pittsburgh can hope for. Under looks solid as well.

Fearing contraction in the NHL starts in Pittsburgh
